In 2023 CICRA are celebrating its 45th anniversary and whilst there has been a massive increase in the number of children being diagnosed over the past 45-years our aims remain the same – to fund research to find better treatments and an eventual cure for IBD, whilst providing easy to understand information and support for children, and their families. We believe that all children with IBD should enjoy their childhood and achieve their potential, despite having the condition. We are a small friendly charity with limited funds, we get no government funding and rely on our generous members, their friends and family for donations and financial support.
This year, to celebrate such an exciting milestone, we have provided some exciting new opportunities to fundraise for our anniversary appeal, including more sponsored run places and challenges across the UK than we have ever offered before!
