Norwich Family Information Day
We are delighted to announce that the next CICRA IBD Family Information Day will take place on Saturday 18th April 2026
Mercure Norwich
121-131 Boundary Road, Norwich, NR3 2BA
10am - 4pm (doors open at 9.30am)
This special day is designed exclusively to help families with a child or young person who has Crohn's, Ulcerative Colitis or IBDU. It's a chance to come together in a relaxed, supportive environment, meet others who truly understand life with IBD, and learn more about the condition from paediatric IBD specialists.
What to expect from the day
Our family days provide a valuable opportunity for families to:
- Meet and chat with other families in similar situations
- Share experiences and feel less alone on their IBD journey
- Learn more about IBD from leading professionals
- Listen to talks and join discussion groups
- Attend a Q&A session with IBD experts
- Enjoy a relaxed day with activities for children and young people
Lunch and refreshments are provided for all attendees.
Whilst adults attend information sessions, children and teenagers can opt to take part in group activities and discussion groups. There will be entertainment and interactive sessions for younger children.
The talks were informative, but it really helped talking to other families who have been through similar experiences and sharing information on treatment, side effects, behaviour etc. My son benefited from talking about his experiences with people his own age who understand, something he doesn't do with his friends.
