• Would you like to become a member of CICRA?

Membership of CICRA is free, there is no charge and we can assure you that any information you give is confidential. If you decide to become a member, you will receive all future mailings and newsletters; have access to our E-Pal scheme for the children and our Parents in Contact scheme for adults. You can also ask for a ‘Can’t wait card’ to ask for urgent use of toilet facilities at school and in shops, libraries, offices and other places where public toilet facilities are not provided.

You and your family will also be welcome to attend our family information days held in London and other parts of the country during the year. At the meetings we have a number of presentations on various aspects of Inflammatory Bowel Disease (Crohn’s Disease and Ulcerative Colitis), a young person talking about their experiences of living with IBD and a parents perspective. Following this we split into small groups where members have to opportunity to ask questions of specialist doctors, scientists, dieticians, psychologists etc or just listen to other people’s questions.

The IBD Family Information Days are in the planning stage for 2015, we are hoping they will be in Newcastle (March), London (June) and Aberdeen (September).
