chloe, things like this make you realise who your friends really are (believe me, those few months where i could barely walk anywhere and the doctors said i was fine, i had loads of 'friends' ditch me) i'd tell them just because im open like that, but it's your call. Besides, if you trust them enough to tell them, don't be afraid or ashamed of it xxxx
My friends never gave up on me as such, they would still talk to me in school but they gave up at trying to get me out of the house. But when I was diagnosed I started telling my closest freinds first to see how they reacted (if your closest friends didn't react well it probably not a good idea to tell the rest) another thing I do is rather than announcing it I tell people individually, that way you don't have to tell the people that are ...........
