Jimmy McAdam is 15 years old and nearly in year 11. He enjoys playing golf and goes about 5 days a week if he can.  He also enjoys watching the sports channels on Sky.  Jimmy enjoys going out with his mates if he can be bothered or just chilling out in front of the television.  He also enjoys watching soaps and cooking programmes which make him feel hungary. Jimmy would like a penpal of any age.

Shlena Miah is 10 years old and has Crohn's Disease.  She lives in Liverpool and her hobbies include art and music.  Shlena would love to be a nurse.  She is looking for a penpal of a similar age.

Warren Thompson  (15 years old) lives in Wigan, Lancashire and was diagnosed with Crohn's Disease on 23 February 2007.  His hobbies include playing badminton and chess, reading, cycling and swimming when he gets the chance.  Warren would like to have an e-mail pen-pal either a boy or girl around his age who wants to talk about their troubles and his experiences. 

Fraser Brown  is aged 13 and lives in Glasgow.  He has been diagnosed with Crohn's disease.  Fraser likes playing football and has just started secondary school.  He is looking for a COOL penpal.

Bradley Collins is 11 years old and lives in Bury St. Edmonds.  He was diagnosed with Crohn's Disease in July 2006.  Bradley likes football, tennis, cricket, basketball, badminton and swimming.  He also enjoys art and craft, wrestling with his young brother, listening to music, playing his PS2 and other computer games, playing with his friends and watching films.  His favourite food is pasta.  Bradley is also looking for a COOL penpal.

Rebecca Hewitt is 12 years old and was diagnosed with Crohn's Disease in December 2006.  Her favourite colour is pink and she supports Barnslley Football Club.  Rebecca also likes shopping, eating chocolate, art and annoying her big brother.  She would love to find a penpal of similar age.

April Eaton is 18 years old and lives in Cheshire.  She was diagnosed with Crohn's Disease on 8th February 2006 and is now on steroids.  April likes listening to music, texting her friends, shopping and watching DVDs.  She would love to find a penpal of similar age.

Jasmine Haakerson is 11 years old and was diagnosed with Crohn's Disease in December 2006.  She enjoys playing netball and hanging out with friends, singing and acting.  Her hobbies are drawing, painting, writing and reading. Jasmine has one younger brother and lives in Swindon.  Her favourite colours are blue and pink.  She likes Mcfly and her favourite food it prawn mayonnaise sandswiches.  She would like to find a penpal of similar age.

Jordan Hepple is 10 years old and lives in Lancashire.  He likes watching The Simpsons and spends a lot of time playing Playstation and XBox.  Jordan supports Blackburn Rovers and plays football for his school team. 

Hayley Elsom is 19 years old and was diagnosed with IBD over three years ago.  She lives in Oxfordshire and enjoys dancing, shopping and listening to all types of music.  Hayley would like to hear from boys and girls 14 years old and above.

Jordan Mclean is 12 years old and was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis in June last year.  He enjoys playwatching wrestling and listening to music.   Jordan is looking for a penpal ing on his Playstation, of a similar age.

Zoe Ilivitsky is 16 years old and lives in London and was diagnosed with Crohns Disease in July 2006.  She has been on the Modulen diet twice, been on a course of steroids and other medications.  Zoe is 15 years old and enjoys music, art, plays keyboard and guitar and loves shopping.  She would love a penpal who is around 13-17 years old.

Abbie Browning is 8 years old and lives in Dumfries in Scotland.  Abbie was diagnosed with Crohn's in December 2006.  She enjoys art and crafts, watching television, dancing and swimming.  Abbie would like girl penpal around the same age.

Anna Borthwick is 15 years old and was diagnosed in the autumn of 2005 with Ulcerative Colitis.  She loves watching films, shopping and listening to music.  She would like to hear from any boy or girl around the same age.  She has just recoved from being on steroids for 7 months.

Sophie Greenwood was diagnosed with Crohn's Disease in March 2004.  She is 15 years old and lives in Burnley, Lancashire.  Molly loves films, being with friends, playing different sports and talking on MSN.  She is looking for a penpal between 14 and 17 who has similar interests. 

Abigail Willcock is 15 years of age and lives on the Wirral, she has been diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis.  Abigail's hobbies are eating italian, reading and playing on the internet.  Her favourite band is 'MCR' and her favourite sport is swimming.  She would like a penpal the same age.

Hanna Crombie is 15 years old and lives in Falmouth, Cornwall.  She has recently been diagnosed with Crohn's and is currently on the feed diet.  Hanna loves to write, draw, sew, act, play the piano and flute and go out with her friends.  Hanna would like a penpal of between 11 and 15 years old with similar interests.

Louise Burton lives in Cambridgeshire and was diagnosed with Crohn's Disease 2 years ago.  Louise is 18 years old and is interested in textiles and meeting new people.  Her hobbies are playing the keyboard, reading and shopping.  Louise would like a penpal of similar age who understands what it is like to live with Crohn's.

Daniel Atkinson is 16 years old from Sunderland in the North East of England.  He was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis in March 2007 a week after his birthday.  He plays football for his local team and supports Sunderland AFC.  Daniel is a seaon tick holder.  He enjoys playing on his Xbox 360 especially sports games.  Daniel watches a lot of TV and likes watching films mainly horrors and funny films.  He spends a lot of time on the computer especially MSN and the internet.  Daniel does not mind talking on MSN or communicating by letter.

Katherine Ditch is 17 years old and suffers from Crohn's Disease.  Here interests are tennis, football, going out with friends at the weekend and shopping.  Katherine would like a penpal of the similar age.

Conor Beamish is 15 years old and lives in Cambridge.  He was diagnosed in October 2006 and is being treated at the Royal Free Hospital in London.  Conor likes football and supports Manchester United.  He enjoys swimming and going out with his friends.

Sianna Rigby is aged 14 and was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis in March 2006.  She has since had an ileostomy in February 2007.  Sianna would love to talk to others with similar interests such as hockey, swimming, rounders and outdoor pursuits.

Jamie Wright is aged 15 and was diagnosed with Crohns Disease in June 2007.  He likes playing football, cricket and badminton.  He also enjoys talking to friends on MSN and playing on his Playstation.  Would love to have contact with others of a similar age. 

Chloe McAvoy is aged 11 and was diagnosed with Crohn's in March 2007.  She lives in Glasgow.  Chloe was on the Modulen diet but did not respond well to that.  She is now on Omeprazole, Sulfasalazine and steriods and is about to start Methotrexate.  She would like a penpal.  Her hobbies are dancing and arts and crafts. 

Anisah Inayat is 13 years old.  She was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis in 2004.  Anisah loves playing basket ball, football and swimming.  She would like a penpal because she would like to be able to talk to someone who understands what she is talking about and understands how she feels.  She would like to be able to express how she feels with someone who understands.

Serena Birkin is 14 years old.  She was diagnosed with Crohns in July 2006.  Her interests are the internet, animal care and swimming.  Looking forward to sharing experiences with someone who understands, has not been able to go to school for quite a while so really would like to have someone to talk to.

Horn Arnarsdottir is 12 years old and lives in Aberdeen.  Horn has had Crohns for 4 years.  She enjoys ballet, jazz dancing, playing the guitar and hanging out with her friends.  Her favourite TV programs are Friends and Scrubs.  Horn would like a pen or internet pal, boy or girl with similar interests.

Katie Taylor is 14 years old and lives in Co. Durham.  She was diagnosed with Crohns in November 2007 and has a nasal feeding tube.  Katie is on steriods and may have to to on to infliximab.  She is about to start methotrexate.  Katie has missed a lot of school and likes playing on her computer and playing football.  She would like to talk to someone who understands how she feels.

Jessica Roberts is 15 years old and lives near bath.  She was diagnosed with Crohns in August 2003.  Jessica has been on a NG tube twice.  She is currently on steriods, methotrexate and has also been on infliximab.  Jessica enjoys music, art, football (Barcelona FC) and computer games.  Would like to write to girls or boys of around the same age with similar interests.

Sam Robinson is 17 years old and in year 11 at school.  He has had Crohn's for about 7 years and is on the NG tube at the moment, which seems to be working well.  Sam loves sports, especially football and plays for a team called Wyke Wanderers and is also captain at school.  He supports Arsenal, loves music - indie (plays the guitar) - hip hop and bass/bouncy house.  Sam likes hanging out with his mates and loves a good film.  He would like to hear from a boy or girl aged 14 or over.

Abigail Hopgood is 15 years old and will be 16 in June.  She lives near Oxford and was diagnosed with Crohn's in June 2007.  Abigail had a major operation in October and now feels much better.  Her hobbies are using the computer, MSN, being with her friends and just havaing a good time.  Abigail is looking for a penpal between the age of 12 and 17, to talk to.

Katy Whitlock is 10 years old and was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis when she was 8.  She likes reading, writing and sewing, shopping for new clothes and books. Katy also like to play with Sylvanian families.  She has two guinea-pigs called "Button" and "Bramble".

Annie Johnson is 14 years old and was diagnosed with Crohns disease at the age of 9.  She has had various treatments, Modulen, Steriods, Azothyaprin and now has a Gastrostomy giving her overnight feeds of Modulen.  Annie likes the beach, swimming, shopping and would like to get in touch with children who know what she is going through.

Jennifer Byrne is 7 years old and has Ulcerative Colitis. She likes reading, drawing, colouring and making things and also has a puppy, who she enjoys playing with.

Emma Murison is 12 years old and lives in Aberdeen. She was diagnosed with Crohn's in 2006 and is currently on a NG tube but will soon be having a gastrostomy. Her favourite colour is pink and her hobbies include texting her friends and shopping. She is also looking forward to going into secondary school later this year.  

Rachel Brown is 12 years old and lives in Ipswich, Suffolk.  She is currently under West Suffolk Hospital, receiving Infliximab infusion treatment due to long term steriods not working.  Rachel likes swimming, reading, arty and crafty stuff.  She goes to Guides and a local youth club.  She likes films that have Hilary Duff and Lindsay Lohan in.  Rachel would like a Pen Pal of a similar age to chat to by letter or email.

Jonathan Longden "Joni" is 16 years old and was diagnosed with Crohn's in March 2007.  He likes computers, cars, basketball and every type of music.  Jonathan also likes just hanging about with his mates.  He would like someone to talk to not only about living with IBD but also everything else.

Emily West is a 10 year old and was diagnosed with Crohn's in June this year.  She has been on Modulen twice.  She is now on steriods, azathioprine, omeprazole and Mesalazine.  Emily's favourite colours are pink and blue.  Her hobbies are reading, dancing, singing and acting.  Emily would like a penpal of similar age.

Heather Foulkes is 16 years old and in year 11 at school.  She lives in Plymouth and was diagnosed with Crohn's disease in May 2004.  Heather's favourite things are art, dancing, singing, acting and being with her friends.  She would be happy to have an email or msn penpal, boy or girl of a similar age.

Jemma King aged 12 was diagnosed in July 2008 after being very ill for a long time.  Jemma has Ulcerative Colitis, Pan Colitis and Liver Disease.  She is now about to start on infliximab infusion.  Jemma has three horses and enjoys sports, reading and listening to music.  She likes Charlotte and MCR.  Jemma also takes drum lessons and has her own drums.  She would like a penpal so that she can talk to someone who understands what she is going through.

Katie Rollings is 7 years of age.  She was diagnosed with Crohn's after being unwell for a long time in November 2007 when she was 6.  Katie likes pink and princesses and reading.  She would like a penpal who understands her tummy troubles.

Shai Ilivitzky is 13 years old and lives in North West London.  She was diagnosed with Crohn's in July 2008.  Shai's older sister also has Crohn's.  Shai likes playing the keyboard, swimming and general fun.  She would like to find a penpal aged 13-14.

Christopher Le Roux is 10 years old and lives in Cape Town, South Africa but his cousins live in Suffolk & London.  He was diagnosed with Crohn's disease on Friday 13th February 2009.  He has been on the Modulen diet for 9 weeks and is about to begin on azathioprine.  He enjoys his Playstation, Wii and reading.  He also does karate.  He would like to hear from other children with Crohn's who are about the same age as him. 

Zara Hattley is 11 years old and lives in Maidstone in Kent.  She was diagnosed with Crohn's in October 2007.  She is having modulen via an NG tube for the second time and absolutely hates it.  Zara loves dancing, reading, watching TV, art and crafts, swimming and cats.  She has a cat called Angel.  Zara would love to hear from people her own age in a similar position.

Emily Simmons is 13 years old and was diagnosed with Crohns in 2005.  She lives in Hertfordshire.  Emily loves badminton and skiing.  She also enjoys reading, cycling and chocolate.  Emily's favourite food is lasagne.  She has an older sister.  Emily has had 5 endoscopys and is currently on infliximab.  She would like a pen pal of a similar age to talk to someone who knows how she feels.  

Molly Rose is 14 years old and lives in Doddington.  She has recently been diagnosed with Crohns, but has had symptoms for 6 years.  Molly is on steriods at the moment.  Molly loves school, swimming and being with her friends.  She is looking for someone who she can talk to about the disease who will understand what she is going through.

Lottie Jones (Charlotte) is 14 years old and was diagnosed with Crohn's disease in May 2007 when she was 11 after months of illness and is still waiting for remission.  She has been on modulen via NG tube, steriods twice, azathiaprine, mesalazine, omeprozole and many more!  She is now on infliximab infusions every 5-7 weeks and may start methotrexate.  She loves climbing/abseiling, fencing and other outdoor activities.  Lottie also loves science at school, films, fashion, singing, chatting and shopping with friends.  Her favourite foods are pasta and she would like to talk to anyone aged 11-15 that understands what she is going through and with similar interests.

 

Abigail Bond is 14 years old.  She loves to read books.  Abigails favourite programme on TV is Dr. Who.  She does not go to school very often as she does not have a lot of stamina.  Her favourite animals are her two cats.

Meg is 16 and was diagnosed with crohns after appendicitis.  She is starting her A-levels in September 2010.  Meg likes listening to music, msn, facebook and hanging round with her friends.  She would love to hear from anyone her age with crohns, either by email or msn.
