Congratulations to Simon Tetlow who completed the London Marathon in 4hr 11 secs, a fantastic achievement. Simon has a long association with CICRA having suffered with Crohn’s Disease, which is now in remission.
Our thanks to Simon who over the last few years has raised funds for CICRA by completing the British 10K London Run and now the London Marathon. At the time of writing Simon’s online donation page has raised a total of £1,373.50 (http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/simon_tetlow).
Should you wish to follow in Simon’s footsteps and raise funds for CICRA by running in the 2016 London Marathon, you can enter the public ballot which opens on Monday 4th May (www.virginmoneylondonmarathon.com). Unlike previous ballots, it will remain open until Friday 8th May at 5pm. Sadly CICRA do not have any charity places for the London Marathon 2016, but we would be happy to support anyone who wishes to raise funds for CICRA with their own race place.
