Invitation to CICRA IBD Family Day
Saturday 10th May 2014
The AirSpace Conference Centre, Imperial War Museum,
Duxford, Cambridgeshire, CB22 4QR
Following on from the success of our adolescent/teenagers groups at our family days, we would like to introduce a session for sufferers of Crohn’s Disease and Ulcerative Colitis who are age 18+. The session will form part of the CICRA Family Day at the AirSpace Conference Centre, Imperial War Museum, Duxford on Saturday 10th May 2014.
The session will take on the same informal discussion style that works so well for the adolescent and teenage groups.
We hope the 18+ group session will allow people to discuss the challenges they face with subjects such as university, employment, relationships, alcohol etc. and how they deal with them on a day to day basis whilst also managing their IBD.
CICRA are hoping this might be the start of a support group for the 18+ and would value the opinions and input from the group on how best to provide this in the future.
You are very welcome to join us for the full day and listen to the medical and research talks in the morning and join in discussion groups in the afternoon. A buffet lunch will be provided. The meeting will close around 3.30pm, which will give you time to enjoy free admission to the museum which closes at 6pm
We very much look forward to meeting you at the AirSpace Conference Centre at the Imperial War Museum, Duxford, Cambridgeshire, CB22 4QR.
If you would like to register for the 18+ session at the IBD Family Day, please contact the CICRA office on
